About FIDO

Mission: Promotion of responsible canine ownership through recreation, community advocacy and supervision of off-leash areas.

Fresno Innovative Dog Owners (FIDO) is a non-profit organization committed to developing and improving off-leash dog parks in Fresno County and surrounding areas.  Through education, member and corporate outreach, and direct partnerships with City and County regulatory agencies, our vision is to increase the quantity and quality of off-leash dog parks, dog and owner education and dog socialization in Fresno County.    

Fresno County is home to one of the most industrious and populous agriculture economies in California with a dog population that continues to grow rapidly. As a result, Fresno County needs more established off-leash areas. FIDO is committed to maintaining the quality of these areas so they continue to be safe, clean and fun place for our community and our dogs.
